Our very own Lindsey Baker, Lead GED instructor for GNTC’s Catoosa and Walker GED sites, was recently named “Hometown Hero” by Modern Woodmen of America. Along with the award, Modern Woodmen will donate $100 to the charity of Lindsey’s choice. Lindsey chose Catoosa Citizens for Literacy as her charity of choice. The monies donated will assist up to five GED students in the event they need to retest. Lindsey has a true passion for teaching. We are honored to have Lindsey as our Lead Instructor here at the Learning Center. She is well deserving of this award.
